6th GRADE RECEIVES MATERIALS GRANT FOR MATH CURRICULUM

Dear Parents,

Recently we received a materials grant to help us set up a 24 game tournament. This game, in which students must use their knowledge of basic math facts () to make 24 using four other numbers, will be a ton of fun for students and will really motivate kids to work on their basic facts. This will in turn support all the other math teaching we are currently doing in the classroom; making algebra, fractions, and decimals much easier to work with.
